Quilting & Scrapbooking

I can't help it, I am in love with them both! Just recently, a few friends helped me rekindle my love for cardmaking, scrapbooking, papercrafting. Never fail tho, my first love is quilting and always will be.
I find it facinating that some of the designers of fabrics, are also scrapbook paper/crafting designers also. What a small world. Some that I have seen are Heather Bailey, and Basic Grey! Well, seems I am in good company.
Want to tell you about a scrapbooking blog I have been logging into recently--Keepsakes By Melissa. She is a great designer of cards.
I went to Micheals today on my way home from my college boy. I just love that place, and love the remodeling they have done (I haven't been to this particular one for over a year). I perused the sale items, and came home with quite a bunch. The thing is, I go back down that way in about a week and a half! I did some lookie looing, and will be getting some other things then.
I would like to get a cricut, but not sure which i should get. For any of you scrapbookers out there, what is the best one for my buck(s). The saleslady at Micheals told me to wait and get it with a % off coupon, so signed up for those too today. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I cant wait till I get my paradise, I mean craft room, done! It will be a scrapbooking and quilting heaven.
Let me know if you have found other scrapbooking blogs! I would love to look at them.
Hugs,

Debbers, I have a cricuit, the normal size one. My dd has the bigger one. I think for titles on scrap pages and card making, the small one is fine but if you decided to cut out vinyl letters or things for the quilt shop, the bigger one is a must. Defiinitely wait for coupons and watch for cartridge sales. I get mine for $29. Welcome to the obsession club.

OH, one more thing. Watch the ads at Wal-Mart and walmart.com. Both have specials on the machines.
